If you are searching for free auditions than do not fear, you can go to many places where their are a lot of auditions and casting calls that are free. You can start by going through entertainment trade publications like Variety and Back Stage. Those are awesome resources to get both casting calls and free auditions.

For a more detailed article on finding castings for free look at: Click Here

Craigslist is another great place to find free castings and auditions. Search in the section for jobs which has an entertainment section. Go there and you will be able to see the most current and up to date casting calls and auditions. My favorite thing about Craigslist is that the new nobs and auditions are updated every day.

You can also go into your favorite search engine like MSN, Yahoo, Bing, or Google and type in Free Auditions or Free Casting calls or something similar. A lot of pages will pop up with information on free castings and auditions. A minor annoyance i had was that many of the sites where ugly and hard to navigate. I had to search through a lot of junk to find the good information. It is free, so I can’t really complain.

My last tidbit I want to share with you does not actually tell you how to get free auditions, but is something you may want to consider nonetheless. It is considering getting an agent. You don’t have to pay you agent up front, but they will take some of your earnings. That may sound sucky, but an agent could be worth it since they find you jobs. Be sure to consider it, but if worst come to worst and you don’t get one you will know where to find free auditions.

Writing screenplays isn’t as tough as most people would think. Though the number of screenplays being turned into movies are not at the highest rate, the chances are still great if you have the basic tools need to draft up a dazzling Screenplay, with great dialog, smooth pacing, and a great plot.

Get Ready

To start off with, make sure that you are really ready to start the endeavor of writing a movie screenplay. There are lots of tips, and bits of information to remember, though they are all fairly easy to accomplish and master.

1. What’s the Story?

Ask yourself, “What story am I about to write?” Remember that there is no difference between the story and the plot. Both give the reader an idea of what they are going to be reading. There are many plots, and many of them have turned into blockbusters. For example, there was a plot about killer sharks swimming in the water of a local beach. Another plot consisted of a an alien coming to Earth, and befriending a young boy, only to be discovered from hiding. Yet another is of a man who has blackouts as a kid, and realizes later on in life that he can go back in time… then change things. Whatever plot or story that you come up with, make sure it’s a really good one, as well.

2. You Must Have a Hero and a Villain

A story would not be a complete story without a hero and a villain. The wonderful thing about stories, and imagination, is that a hero could be anything, a person, a group of people, all fighting for a something or someone. Just as well, the villain could be anything, an organization, animal, or someone not even human. It could be a ghost! The reason why both of these people are key ingredients for a great plot is because the hero is someone that the movie goer can relate to. They have to have a reason to sit through almost two hours of a movie, and the hero must provide that, along with the plot. Also, the villain must be there to damper the progress of your hero. Remember both your hero and villian must each have something that they want to achieve, and the villain must be there to stop the hero in any way, shape, form, or fashion. This builds drama and suspense, both wonderful ingredients for an entertaining story.

3. You Must Have Conflict

Conflict, drama, or obstacles must constantly be in your hero’s way. For this, you must turn to your villain, and give them a reason to stop your hero from getting what he/she most desires. At the same time, you don’t want to outwit your hero so much that the audience feels absolutely no hope. An audience wants to see ordinary people succeed, because they consider themselves ordinary, as well. For example, J.R.R. Tolkien’s book, The Lord of the Rings. Frodo, the hero, and small hobbit was a mere three feet tall, and managed to take the precious ring to Mount Doom, even after being stabbed by a sword, a giant spider, and having his finger bitten off. Lots of obstacles were present, but with a fair amount of successes to boot.

4. Focus on Pacing

The pacing of your screenplay must be smooth, not too slow, and not too fast.

Risk of being too slow-

Needless to say, if your screenplay’s pacing is slow, people will get bored to death. The one thing you don’t want your audience, of a slush pile reader for that matter, is walking out on your story. You want to constantly keep them entertained by giving new plot information with each scene, and a wonderful climax at the end.

Risk of being too fast-

Going too fast can, sometimes, confuse the audience, or the reader. Try to evenly pace your story, a slow scene followed behind a fast action packed one. The balance should be so smooth and graceful in order that the reader or audience will crave for more, or feel blissfully satisfied after the climax and resolution scenes.

5. Please, No More Than 120 Pages!

Your screenplay should come in at no more than 120 pages. Now, if you believe your movie could only be told in page length over 120 pages, then go right ahead. However, it’s not a good idea to push the page count over 150; at that point, your “masterpiece” mayl be directly rejected. Slush pile readers have many, sometimes, hundreds of other screenplays to read, and they want the shortest ones with the most potential.

Follow your instincts when it creating the story you wish to tell, but follow these tips, and make sure you put them into memory, because they are screenwriting law, especially if you wish to get work as a screenwriter. You can also view this mind map for graphics, notes, and more info on molding a sellable, and wonderful screenplay.

So on with the next lot of toons that have either driven, ridden or of course been associated with a van.

All of the toons below compete with eachother all of the time and all of them really hate one another, which one do you like to watch. There haven’t been many van appearances in them but when there have, they have been pretty funny.

News Van- Simpsons

Kent Brockman is the guy with the job of having to sit in this van while it goes around to the spots in which the news needs to be reported. Although Brockman is never seen inside the van itself his team are always in there giving him all of the quirky comments he apprently comes up with.

Police Van With Family Guy

The van has only ever featured in one episode of the series and was used to listen in on a conversation between Lois and an ex. Peter is assuming that Lois is having an affair or about to start an affair but it turns out that all she wanted was a catch up over a coffee. Peter of course is not listening from the start so thinks the worst when in actual fact it really isnt too bad at all.

Kenny Loves Ice Cream- South Park

This program has gone on for a very lon period of time so many vans have featured within it, this has to be the one that appears the most. The van has only ever appeared in one episode and in the episode did not manage to serve ice-cream but to kill Kenny.

So there you have it some of the best vans in cartoon history. Let us just hope that these toons looked into commercial contract hire for their vans to save a bit of money. Van contract hire could actually be a better way to use a van as it is a lot cheaper than buying one outright.

Just a few more cartoons that enjoy wearing their glasses. Many of these toons are considered to be a bit geeky behind the scenes when in actual fact they are very cool in reality. Some of these would most defiantly be seen walking the streets in designer sunglasses and even perhaps in rayban sunglasses ray bans.

Peter Parker The Science Guy

Peter Parker The Science Guy The scientist Peter Parker Loves his spiders- Peter Parker Parker is actually a very clever science whiz who lives with his aunt and uncle in New York because his parents are already dead He is then bitten at a science conference by a radioactive spider that then gives him spider-like powers. Spiderman turned into a vigilante after making the mistake of not bothering to catch a criminal as he thought the police could do it, this was at the stage where Spiderman was not a nice guy at all, this went on to cost his uncles life. There is no need at all for the geeky glasses once he was bitten by the spider.

Clark Kent Or Superman

Another superhero here but this time it is slightly different. Superman really doesnt want to be bothered when he is just living his life which is why he events the person .The glasses here seem to be used to make Clark a bit more like a normal man and it seems to work very well with his suit, tie and briefcase look. Superman actually works at the Daily Planet where he can have his excuses for being at all of the nasty crime scenese.

So there you have it really, only a few of the characters that wear glasses. Others include Arthur, Chicken Little and Simon from the Chipmunks and although you may not see them wearing Ray Ban Wayfarer you never know really do you?

If you are in search of casting calls for kids than I recommend you listen to the advice I am about to give you, that will make it more likely that you do not put to much pressure on your child.

A lot of resources such as time and money are spent by parents who are trying to get their children to succeed in casting calls for kids. The entertainment industry for kids as a whole can be a really cutthroat and competitive industry. But if your child makes it big the rewards can be fruitful. There are babies and children of all ages all over the United States who are already earning millions of dollars each year in print ads, commercials, and even in the music industry. Next could be your kid.

For some great tips for kids in show business check this article out: Kid Auditions If you put in the information about your city, you can have a list of jobs in your area.

Finding Casting Calls for Kids

If you are thinking of getting an agent, just be sure they only charge you when they find your child a job. Talent Agents should only be compensated after you and your child are given payment. Ten percent is the industry standard for commission.
You will need every advantage you can get your hands on in the entertainment industry. Remember that as you enter your child into casting calls for kids that you should not push your child to hard. Some parents try to live through the success of their children. Wanting your child to do well is great, but note that too much pressure and stress on a kid is going to discourage them from doing whatever it is you want them to do.

Once you take the advice on casting calls for kids, your child chances of becoming successful will increase..

When I watch a movie like the Wizard of Oz I imagine that when it was first released the only way you could see it was to go to the movie theater. Can you believe there was a time you had to walk out your door to see a movie? Could anyone back in that time sitting in a theater thinking of a time when they could watch the same movie in their living room? And the best home theater systems available today affect our movie experience compared to only 10 years ago.

Today you can have Dolby surround sound with a better sound system than most theaters had in the 20th century. You can hear background noise in the back of you while listening to the dialog in the foreground.

If you can control all of the movie experience at home, why go out to a theater? Sure you have to pop your own popcorn but it is usually a lot cheaper than at the theater.

And film makers knows this. They have seen the number of people at movie houses go down steadily. Attendance may have dropped, but the movie industry is still making money.

They know that people would rather pay for a DVD they can watch over and over again verses paying for a movie ticket where they can watch the movie only once. This is why the movie industry is promoting DVD’s over movies. They have a whole new market to work with.

The movie industry is making movies with all sorts of unique features both video and audio which makes watching movies at home on the best home theater systems money can buy. This way everyone is happy. The people watching movies in their home and the movie industry who sells them the movies. Remember the old movies and the people who watched them the next time you are enjoying your home theater system.

So you are a beginner film maker and you would like to rent green screen studios to make your film masterwork. There are a range of reasons why you would wish to hire a green screen studio and among those reasons is that you almost certainly have some useful videos you want to incorporate in a particular scene. Without reference to your reason for using a green screen studio, you should pay very close attention to the place that you are going to rent. A lot of care should be given since the studio just about outlines the entire spine of your production. Far more than post-processing, the actual production of the film rests greatly on the studio. It is about as important as having good actors so do not take it for granted.

What must you be on the look out for hiring good green screen studios? Consider location. If your production team is based in San Diego for example, try not to go past the state solely for a green screen studio. The cost that it would take for you to travel and transport your entire production crew from states that are completely at opposite ends would simply overthrow your cost for the whole production. Invest in research ; there is probably a good green screen studio near your base that you can employ without losing an arm and a leg.

Pay attention to the cost of renting a green screen studio. Bear in mind that the charge for a decent green screen studio production is usually a product of the dimensions of the studio, the quality and modernity of the appliances and the professionalism of the crew that runs the place.

Here are the gear that you must nearly find in a green screen studio that you are going to rent : A stage, lighting grid, HVAC units and of course, vehicle access. All the other features are just a and but you should not forget to cover the fundamentals. It’s also naturally, obvious that there should be make-up rooms and a room that overlooks the whole facility. You’ll have to direct in a substantial distance and the communication between the tech room and on the floor must always be open.

Special green screen residences have tall grids and 3-wall cyclorama. If you can find one in your region that has these specs, it might already be a good deal for you.

As anyone who knows me can tell you, I truly enjoy download movies. There’s not a lot that I enjoy more than watching a good movie and snacking. I wrote a short piece on movie downloads since lately visitors have been contacting me asking for my advice on where to download movies on the internet.

There are many people who only watch movies that they download. Having the internet has made it so easy to get any DVD you could ever want right onto your home desktop or laptop.

There are many more movies available for download online than you could ever hope to find in a brick-and-mortar video store. Anything between a restored classic from the golden age of film, to the latest new releases can be found on the Internet.

Where is it possible to go to download movies?

I would like to indicate the places you should absolutely avoid for downloading films. You may be familiar with file sharing sites like LimeWire but you should avoid those. With all the viruses floating around, it is easy to get inundated with spyware. When searching for movies to download, you may come across files that are incomplete, or something completely different than what you intended to download.

Disadvantages of these websites include the fact that download speeds are sluggish. Sometimes waiting for your video to finish downloading can take over a day. Certainly it is a hassle to have to spend all this time only to discover the file malfunctions!

Pay for download video sites is another way to do it. Every single movie is going to cost around ten dollars to download and you will be charged for every individual movie that is downloaded. Nevertheless, there exists cheaper options hence I suggest to stay away from these.

For specialized movie downloads, becoming a member of the website is the best option in the long run. At these sites you can download any film you want, for a one-time fee of anywhere between and . A fantastic selection of movies to select from can be found on websites committed to movie downloads. Sound files and fast speeds, plus unlimited movie downloads, make this an excellent choice.

A great alternative to renting movies at a movie store is downloading them onto the computer. It is cheaper, quicker and totally habit-forming!

You may be wondering what is the difference between plasma and LCD TVs. Now, if you are concerned about purchasing whichever you want, then you would definitely like this question answered. Those who have technical background can easily get a grasp on specific information, however first timers may not be that much open to information.

To make it a little bit understandable, let’s focus on the basics. The difference between plasma and LCD TV’s depends on the advantage that they can give which would affect the consumers decision in buying whichever they choose. You need to be able to compare them accordingly to find what differs from one another.

The first difference between plasma and LCD TV’s are the sizes of their screens. They differ in screen resolution as what others would say, plasma TV’s can range from 32 inches up to 60 inches while a LCD TV would be 13 inches up to 42 inches. If you are looking for a smaller range when it comes to size then you can opt for a LCD TV, but if you have enough space to spare then you may opt to choose a plasma TV.

Well of course your specs wouldn’t just be based on the size but you may look for other features to consider before deciding, like for instance the picture}. Looking at the difference between plasma and LCD in terms of the quality of the picture that they both give, may vary.

LCD TV’s are less flexible when it comes to various angles and view points. Plasma Tvs on the other hand would then allow you to place it anywhere in the room and have a good view of the picture, but you have to stay at a specific distance so you wouldn’t have to notice the respective pixels for the picture.

Those are only a couple of things that you may look into so you can compare the difference between plasma and LCD TV’s. There are other thing that you should also consider such as the life span of the equipment, possible screen burns, and other problem models which cannot be that reliable in terms of usage.
