This was a great movie. I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of the last Ice Age movie. I’m kind of surprised they tried to do another, but I’m really glad they did. The plot was good and kept the story moving. In addition, the action comedy and comic relief from the scrat creature was fabulous. The female scrat creature was fabulous as well. It added a great sub plot.

My favorite character was the new Buckley. Somehow I seemed to relate to him. Probably because he was insane. Nonetheless he was hilarous. Cheers Simon Pegg for a fabulous voice.

I also liked the animation in the movie. There are some detailed scenes in the movie where the dinosaurs live that are pretty spectacular and a bit of a departure from the typical white ice seen in the rest of the movie.

My kids got some of the McDonalds toys and at least now I know that Rudy is a giant white dinosaur and the villain in the story. I don’t want to leave too many spoilers, but you will certainly enjoy this movie with your kids.

Movies like this tend to be even better when viewed with a large audience of kids. Overall A+

Great Fun Movie. The kids think it is very funny and who doesn’t love Reese Witherspoon. Couple that with my two favorite actors Seth Rogen and Hugh Laurie. This is sure to be a breakout hit and is already tops at the box office. It opened to $58.2 million. There will be a video game coming out shortly that everyone can keep the fun rolling with.
