The Duchess

My wife loves movies from this time period and I love Keira Knightley. Ray Fiennes plays the 18th century player role perfect. I also thought Knightley did an excellent role of portraying the struggle the Duchess most have gone through. I imagine there are many trophy wives or wives of basketball players that could completely relate to her struggle. Even though the movie was almost two hours long and centered around character development it moved forwarded and kept me engaged. I certainly couldn’t wait to start finding more information about the real Duchess and her life. I find that to be the mark of a great movie is when it completely captivated my interest.
