Mulholland Drive

David Lynch can always be counted on for providing a movie that is thought provoking.  I have seen this movie about 5 times and am still not sure what is going on.  Some say that the movie is the thoughts of one of the characters immediately before death.  I have also recently read an article that put forth the premise that part of the movie is a dream and part is current reality.  Either way, the story is certainly not linear and if you try to approach it that way, it will make very little sense.

My favorite scene from the movie is “Club Silencio”.  The setting, the scene and the song left a lasting impression so that every time I hear the song “Cry”, I think of this movie.  This scene is one of the keys to unlocking the mystery to the movie.
