I have to disagree that the movie was awesome. Other Star Trek movies have been better.

This installment of the Star Trek saga left me feeling like something was missing. The character development was weak and I didn't feel like I got to know the characters.

The plot would have been better served with a more formidable appearing antagonist. Sure, they can plant red matter and initiate a black hole, but how does that compare with The Borg or one of the other nemises that Kirk and the crew come up against in later adventures?

All in all, I would give the movie a B.

PS. It was about a half hour too long.
